Dr Yitka Graham can talk about patient experiences of adjusting to life after bariatric surgery and the social aspects and perceptions of bariatric surgery as a weight-loss intervention. She is currently working on the role of social media and mobile apps to support bariatric surgical patients, and women’s health and bariatric surgery.
Dr Eddie Bradley can talk about biomechanics in rugby union, with a focus on scrum mechanics and improving safety. He is currently looking at the assessment of rugby scrums in the Six Nations and the effect of rule changes, the measurement of contact location on front row players, and identifying cognitive impairment after collisions.
John Mooney can talk about policy interventions to tackle chronic disease risk factors such as obesity and alcohol misuse.
